I've been fighting with the wifi for the last few days because the speeds were far too low and the signal was dropping. I tested everything, changed settings and reset/rebooted everything between me and my ISP.

Turns out it was my fault.

See my old pc had an internal wifi antenna, so it would pick up a signal from most directions.

This pc on the other hand has 2 antennas on the back of the case... and I had pushed the case back a bit so those antennas were blocked by 5mm of wood. Blocking 90% of the signal.

I am deeply ashamed and I understand if I've lost your respect. If you feel the need to unfollow me over this I completely understand. I will be handing myself over to the authorities in the morning on the grounds that I am A FUCKING GOBSHITE!

i had this teacher in cegep who like never gave grades above 85% unless she thought the work was really really exceptional and said she had given above 90% exactly twice in her entire (30 year) career but the tradeoff was that she also refused to give grades below 75% to the point of where if you scored lower than that on one of her tests she would let you retake the test so you could have 75%. truly strange and arbitrary way of grading but it was kind of a relief & the class always had a very consistent average and a tight standard deviation so it never screwed up anyone's r score too badly

I'm a huge fan of your work and absolutely love it, but I feel pretty conflicted over your use of AI Art. There are quite a few posts going around reminding people to not use text AI generators because it scrapes people's works, the same way we shouldn't use AI Art generators because its based on stealing people's art.

So that makes it pretty disheartening as an artist to watch an author use AI that takes advantage of us, especially during a time when companies are in the middle of trying to replace both writers and artists with AI.

I don't think it's my place to tell you what to do but I was hoping maybe you could give some insight behind your thought process behind using it, and maybe that would help me feel less bad about it? I honestly don't mean this as any kind of passive aggressive attack or anything :( I genuinely just don't know how to feel about it and was hoping maybe more info would help. If you don't want to get into it, I understand, and thank you anyway.

I assume you mean Artbreeder? For me it was a real case of "didn't know and didn't bother to check" <- FOOLISH STATEMENT.

I've gone ahead and taken the portraits off those posts (and deleted any I made with Artbreeder). Physical representations of the ROs for both games will return once I draw all their portraits, which is what I should have done in the first place.

It's so wild to see my absolutely awful former boss who treated his employees like shit and whose restaurant I left because he stole my tips now try to become a local politician for the SPD. The party that's traditionally all about worker's rights. What's your platform my guy, telling waitresses that as future family managers they need to be better at cleaning? Or telling employees that next time they leave trash next to the trash can, he'll deduct 200€ from their wages because that's what his time is worth? Or is it all about how if you don't have the money for new stovetops, paying with the staff's tips is fine
